**The Immigration Specialist oversees the administration of immigration programs and policies within the WWT Human Resource department.
The role will collaborate with Human Resource Business Partners and leadership as well as the business unit leadership to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
**RESPONSIBILITIES:**- Serves as a dedicated point of contact to provide holistic and consultative services on available employment-based immigration options, internal guidelines, and/or education on new or changing policies- Works with immigration attorney to process immigration applications, visas, and visa extensions- Advises foreign employees on immigration and visa procedures- Monitors legal status of foreign employees- Coordinates work visas, permits, and other immigration applications with immigration lawyers, hiring managers, talent acquisition and applicants- Learns about the various types of immigration matters- Monitors US immigration landscape and update/improve immigration resources (FAQs, policy, application, communications) and compliance processes- Updates the immigration case management systemQUALIFICATIONS:- A minimum of 3 years' progressive experience in a related field- Previous work experience with processing immigration applications, visas, and visa extensions.- Strong written and oral communication skills- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.- Detail oriented- Possesses strong knowledge of procedural requirements for various types of nonimmigrant and immigrant visas and client processes.- Ability to work in a team environmentThe well-being of WWT employees is essential.
